Your gun is trash at long range and you cannot trade with any 122mm guns. You have 1250 HP and an amazing turret, use it. Literally all I do is play the "heavy" side of the map, and then just rapidly move back and forth to get enemies to fire either into my turret or ground (Hopefully). If you play the T29 bone stock with the 76mm gun you will be an unpopular teammate. If you get the T29 through the M6 Heavy, you will have the 90mm unlocked so you will not be worthless. Since the storm has devastated the land of the Philippines, it's time to use a more protected vehicle, this time I'll use a T29 Heavy Tank.
